This is my Lower KS2 Science Vocabulary and Spelling List. It contains all the resources listed below. The presentations contain the keywords for each of the science topics listed below, along with a spelling list and a link to even more online learning resources, such as a word mat and also smaller picture-free flashcards.

I thought it would be a fun challenge to make a colourful alphabet about different rocks. The students could each choose a letter and then research the uses and other key facts about each of the rocks. There is a useful link at the end of the presentation which leads students to a wonderfully informative and clear website about rocks.

You could look at it directly as a presentation and discuss the different rocks being shown in each of the photos.
